About

Sophie paints landscapes and sometimes urban settings.  Her focus is on the 'Spirit of Place' of particular locations. Many of her paintings are inspired by the Darent Valley in Kent. 

She originally studied architecture and then went on to work as an urban designer and urban design illustrator. She has exhibited and sold her paintings, including at the Pond Gallery in Clapham, at the Anise Gallery, Shad Thames as part of the Society of Architectural Illustrators, at the Paxton Centre in Crystal Palace and at the Crystal Palace Artists' Open House.
